Calls for Anzac Day to be ring-fenced from rampant commercialism.
A Japanese restaurant in Sydney has copped flak for sending out flyers to its email customers, saying it would be open on April 25, adding words like "lest we forget".
Communications specialist Mike Hutcheson told Mike Hosking the day should be treated with reverence.
"Riding on the coattails of Anzac Day or using it to get a halo effect, is over the edge."
