Australia's deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce is facing political wilderness.
He's the latest Australian politician to find out he is a dual citizen of both Australia and New Zealand.
Under Australia's constitution, a person cannot be a dual citizen and be a federal politician.
But for now, Joyce is staying put as the the High Court will rule whether he is eligible to sit in parliament. However, if he's forced to resign, it throws the government's thin parliamentary majority into jeopardy.Â
Sky News chief political correspondent Keiran Gilbert joined Mike Hosking this morning to discuss the conundrum.Â
