Jacinda Ardern admits some young people probably consider she and Bill English are simply two talking heads.

Following last night's TVNZ debate, the Labour leader said it remains a close race, with still 14 percent of voters undecided.

She told Mike Hosking she's still concerned about voter turnout, especially among young people.

"I do think they care deeply about the direction the country is going in and whether or not we are tackling big issues but sometimes I think they feel...we are just two talking heads."
