Criticism of MBIE over its treatment of employers who've unknowingly breached the Holidays Act

Ace Business Solutions Managing Director Eric Neal has written an open letter to the Workplace Relations Minister, calling time on the confusing legislation and MBIE's lack of goodwill around it.

He says a dismally low number of employers are compliant with the Act, and the Ministry should take that into account in their audits.

"I quite often go out and assist people with their payroll and in the last 14 years, I have only found one company that is 100 per cent compliant with the law."
