Have you ever noticed when you cook chicken that there's a whole lot of excess water?

One home hook has had enough of it, and is taking a complaint to the Commerce Commission.

Andrew Simpson drained half a litre from two kilograms of cooked chicken, and he reckons supermarkets are profiting from the extra weight and customers aren't getting a fair deal.

But do supermarkets or poultry farm really add water to their chicken? Butcher and owner of Elite Meats in Christchurch Corey Winder joined Mike Hosking this morning to discuss the issue.
