Overall prices have slumped one-percent, and the crucial whole milk powder price is down point-five percent.
JMIS director Andrew Kelleher said supply is starting to pick up after a wet start to the season.
He told Mike Hosking demand isn't keeping up.
"Fonterra did put a little bit of extra supply into this auction so we're looking for a little bit more action from the demand side of the equation."
