No concern Air Force chopper failure a widespread issue

The Chief of the Air Force doubts the engine failure that forced an NH90 helicopter to make an emergency landing in Blenheim on Sunday, is an issue facing the whole fleet.

All NH90 helicopters have been grounded since then, forcing the cancellation of two Ministers' trips to Kaikoura today.

Air Vice Marshall Tony Davies told Larry Williams they've taken that precaution until they find out exactly why this happened to a healthy engine, that's flown just over 600 hours.
