The Court of Appeal has reserved its decision over Mark Lundy's appeal to overturn his convictions for murdering his wife and daughter.
The court's heard three days of submissions from Lundy's lawyers and rebuttal from the Crown.
It's been 17 years since the victims were found dead in their Palmerston North home and the history of the case has made for a lengthy appeal.
Lundy's lawyers are arguing dodgy science was used in his trial and fresh evidence has since emerged.
But the Crown refutes that, maintaining Lundy is guilty of one of the most notorious crimes in New Zealand's history.
