There are fears world famous wineries have been consumed by wildfires in Northern California.
Tens of thousands of hectares of land across the famed Napa and Sonoma Counties have been devastated, with at least two wineries confirming they've been destroyed.
One News US correspondent Rebecca Wright told Rachel Smalley firefighters are still battling at least 12 separate blazes.
"Large swathes of Northern California are still today engulfed in flames. Absolute devastation and there's very apocalyptic scenes coming out of those regions around San Fransisco.
She said 20,000 people have been evacuated from their homes.
"Some of that footage that's emerging is terrifying. These fires are moving so quickly that people are being given immediate orders to evacuate, they're having to drive through tunnels of fire."
More than 1,500 structures have been destroyed, including hundreds of homes.
