A free trade deal with the European Union could add tens-of-billions of dollars to our export market.
New Zealand will enter into free trade talks with the EU next month.
Export New Zealand chief executive Kirk Hope told Tim Dower two-way trade with the EU is currently worth around $20 billion.
"We export about eight and import about $12 billion worth of goods and services, which is fairly significant upsize in New Zealand in tripling exports to Europe."Â
