Kiwi designer Karen Walker will showcase her talent to the Duchess of Cambridge at Buckingham Palace today.

Kate Middleton is co-hosting the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange, an initiative celebrating creativity, sustainable production and manufacturing, and ethical trade.

Karen Walker told Kate Hawkesby she worked with a number of artisans to complete her design.

"Two other showers and two support people spend 1000 hours stitching beautiful flowers all over this gown."
