A personal vendetta against Barack Obama is being touted as the reason why Donald Trump is wanting out of the Iran nuclear deal.

Trump has pulled away from the 2015 accord, that was put in place to get Tehran to reduce its stockpile of uranium.

The deal's long been a focus of Trump's ire, sparking the now infamous line of it being the worst deal in U.S history.

World Affairs Editor at The Guardian, Julian Borger told Rachel Smalley if there is one consistent theme about Trump, it's is desire to completely obliterate anything done by his predecessor.

"Any trace of the Obama administration, both in domestic and foreign policy, it seems to be highly personal and highly visceral."
