Hundreds of migrants stranded in the Mediterranean have made it to Europe, but the next group may not be so lucky.
The 629 migrants on board the Aquarius were denied entry by Italy and Malta's hardline governments, after being rescued off the coast of Libya.
Spain has allowed them to disembark to receive desperately needed medical care and apply for asylum - but it's unclear whether other ships that try to dock in Italy will be as lucky.
