The girlfriend of the Las Vegas gunman has been taken in for questioning.
Her partner Stephen Paddock is dead after killing 59 people and injuring hundreds.
Marilou Danley's sisters say she was sent to the Philippines so she wouldn't get in the way.
They say the 62-year-old Queensland expat would have stopped Paddock if she'd been there.
KNSV reporter Faith Jessie told Andrew Dickens there's speculation about when Ms Danley left the country.
"The shooter wired $100,000 to the Philippines . We've also heard reports that she might have been here, taking off for the Philippines, moments before the shooting."
She said people are calling for change in Nevada - where gun laws are relaxed.
"You don't need a permit to purchase, you don't need to register your firearm, you don't need a license. There were some people sceptical that there was nothing he could do."
