A medical marijuana Bill set to be introduced into Parliament is likely to be a watered down version of a separate Members Bill already in the mix.
Green MP Chloe Swarbrick has had a similar bill drawn from the ballot - but the differences won't be known until the Government's Bill comes out today.
She told Nadine Higgins access and cost are the two key issues any legislation needs to address.
"There is a major issue with regards to affordability, so people whoa re currently being able to be prescribed medicinal cannabis through pharmaceutical means currently are having to pay about $1200 a month."
