Jeremy Corbyn is urging Brits not to assume the result of the snap election is a foregone conclusion.

The Labour leader is vowing to overturn what he calls the rigged system and put power back in the hands of people.

UK correspondent Ben Bland told Nadine Higgins they're sentiments that helped Corbyn win the leadership of the Labour Party and now he's trying to appeal to voters at large.

"So his message very much one of saying that under his leadership, a Labour Government would take on vested interests, the wealthy and try and make society fairer."

Bland said the polls aren't always right, as was seen with the UK general election in 2015, the Brexit referendum, and the election of Donald Trump.
