Parents of a terminally ill baby in the UK claim his skull is growing.

Charlie Gard's parents are in a London court, fighting to keep him alive while Great Ormond Street Hospital doctors recommend turning his life support off.

His parents want to take him to the US for further treatment.

UK correspondent, Ben Bland, said the baby's parents stormed out of a hearing after a dispute with the judge over how much pain their son is in.

He told Andrew Dickens the pair claim Charlie shows small signs of improvement.

"They said their own measurements show his skull has grown they conclude that there is brain development and activity."

Bland said the dispute is messy, but could be cleared up by an American specialist.

"A doctor in the US thinks that there's a 10 percent chance that he could help improve Charlie Gard's condition and he 's offering to come to the UK if the court adjourns."
