National's finance spokesperson is harshly criticising the Government's budget as mean-spirited and unbalanced.
Amy Adams says keeping their coalition partners happy is the top priority of Grant Robertson's first Budget.
She says the Government's cut access to contraceptives for low income women, pulled money from camps for traumatised children, and only partially brought in cheaper doctor's visits.
Adams told Kate Hawkesby they've been forced to pay New Zealand First back for their support.
"I think that tells you a lot about the priorities of this Government, it is more about staying in power and keeping Winston Peters happy than it is about delivering on the expectations that they created and the promises they made."
