Steve Hathaway makes a living by swimming in some of the most beautiful parts of the ocean with a camera, filming some of the most weird and wonderful stuff he comes across.

He is a nature documentary maker, and his latest work is about to hit our screens. He filmed the New Zealand segment of the latest Sir David Attenborough documentary, Blue Planet II. The segment sees Hathaway and the show following the false killer whales that live off the coast of Auckland.

Hathaway joined Andrew Dickens to talk about the species he followed and what it means to be part of the David Attenborough legacy.
