The man running for prince of an 'independent' nation

The tiny town of Seborga lies along the Riviera in Italy. It looks like many other coastal towns, and yet Seborga claims to be completely independent from the rest of Italy, the supposed result of a gap in legal treaties dating back hundreds of years. 

Mark Dezzani, a British-born radio DJ who has lived in Seborga for 40 years, is challenging the incumbent Prince in an upcoming election. Dezzani spoke to Andrew Dickens this morning.
