When will Tua fight again?

31/03/2006 12:32:03

Rumours are abounding in boxing circles that David Tua might not step back into the ring, with the same talk suggesting that the former heavyweight contender has split with management partner Inga Tuigamala.

Questions are being asked as to whether this means the New Zealand boxer's career is over.

His promoter in the US, Cedric Kushner, is adamant that Tua is not finished. He says they are looking at fight slots in June and July, but no opponents have been lined up at this stage.

Kushner adds that he is in regular contact with Tua.

David Tua has fought just three times in the past three years. Two fights he has had penned in during the past few months have both been cancelled.
