Kelloggs gifts cereals to City Mission

31/01/2006 9:24:03

When it comes to helping hands the Christchurch City Mission has just had a donation like no other.

Manufacturer Kelloggs has gifted them 80 pallets of breakfast cereals, that is about 2000 boxes.

However City Missioner Michael Gorman says they ran into a slight problem in how to get all the goods from Auckland to Christchurch.

He says the military has come to their aid and the donation is to be shipped to Christchurch on an Air Force flight next Wednesday.
