Mt Wellington murder case postponed

25/08/2005 17:16:02

A man charged with the murder of a nine-year-old girl and attempted murder of her four-year-old sister has had his court appearance postponed.

Britney Abbot was killed when she was flung from a vehicle as it plunged off Auckland's Mount Wellington last weekend.

A 28-year-old man has been charged with Britney's murder and the attempted murder of her sister, who was injured in the crash.

A hearing was scheduled at his bedside in Auckland Hospital today.

He will remain under guard and will appear before a judge at a later date.
