Nandor Tanczos demoted

22/04/2005 7:17:35

Nandor Tanczos

The Greens have demoted Nandor Tanczos.

He has slipped from fourth on the party's list to seven, meaning the party will need to poll well if he is to be returned at the election.

The first eight positions are reserved for the returning MPs with Jeanette Fitzsimons at the top followed by co-leader Rod Donald.

Sue Bradford and Sue Kedgley take the third and fourth places.

Ian Ewen-Street is walking away from politics, so moving up to the ninth spot is East Coast candidate Catherine Delahunty.

The Greens are the only party in Parliament to select their list by polling the entire party membership.
