Man stabbed at Shelley Beach house

A man is in a critical condition at Auckland Hospital after been stabbed several times in an incident in the Rodney District.

Police are speaking to several people at a house in Shelly Beach.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter airlifted the man to hospital. Crewmen say he had multiple stab injuries, with two of them considered major wounds.

It was the fourth stabbing the rescue helicopter attended overnight.
