Carnage on NZ's roads

Another weekend of carnage on the roads.

Five people have already died, in three separate incidents in the last 24 hours.

Two people were killed in a crash in the small Waikato town of Kihikihi at around 7 o'clock last night, while a motorcyclist who was seen riding erratically and on the wrong side of the road, died on Moorhouse Avenue in Christchurch. Two young men were also killed when their car collided with a truck on the Desert Road yesterday morning.
