Police have ruled out foul play following the discovery of a man's body in Wellington Harbour yesterday.

57-year-old Ranchhod Patel was found floating in Evans Bay near the Miramar Wharf. A post mortem examination shows he drowned.

Police have referred his death to the coroner.
