Suresh Raina has stroked a debut century and Sachin Tendulkar coasted to his fifth double hundred to lift India to 669 for nine in the second cricket test against Sri Lanka in Colombo.

India now leads by 27 runs at the end of the fourth day, sending the test to an almost certain draw.

The Colombo pitch has yielded just 13 wickets through four full days of play.

Indian captain MS Dhoni made 76 for the visitors late in the day, while Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis was the most successful bowler, claiming 4-157.
