Harold Skudder - NZ Police

Police investigating the death of Harold Skudder in 2007 have located skeletal remains.

New information led to a 26-year-old man appearing in court this morning charged with Mr Skudder's murder. He disappeared in 2006.

Detective Inspector Shane Cotter says the skeleton was found down a steep bank in Upper Hutt today. He says an area of Moonhsine Hill Rd has been cordoned off.

Mr Cotter says a formal identification will be made possibly using dental records or DNA.
