The Police Minister wants the Sunday Star Times to apologise after sending people to masquerade as terrorists and gain access to restricted areas at Super 14 matches in Hamilton and Christchurch last weekend. Judith Collins says the paper's actions could have resulted in the games being called off and wide-spread panic as stadiums were evacuated. "What we've got here is a newspaper putting thousands of other people at risk just for the sake of a headline. It's unbelievable behaviour." Ms Collins says her other concern is this sort of behaviour will lead to people being body searched by security before attending provincial rugby games. She adds police are taking the matter very seriously and have spoken with the Sunday Star Times. At this stage though police believe no offence has been committed.
