Small wave recorded in Chatham Islands

A tsunami has been recorded at the Chatham Islands.

A 20 centimetre wave was recorded by GNS Science.

WeatherWatch.co.nz weather analyst Richard Green reports that Sumner Beach in Christchurch has been evacuated, along with Port Underwood in the Marlborough Sounds.
