Robin Brooke says sorry for Fiji incident

09/02/2010 20:28:01

Former All Black Robin Brooke has issued a public apology over a recent incident in Fiji.

A girl complained that Brooke had groped her, and a young man who came to her aid said he was manhandled by Brooke.

Robin Brooke now says he will undergo counseling, will reimburse the complainant's air fare, and will cover her family's legal fees.

He says his actions were unacceptable and were in no way provoked by her or any other person. Mr Brooke says he is truly remorseful.
