iPhone application could save lives

18/12/2009 10:48:01

St John is releasing a free iPhone application which could help save a life.

The joint initiative with the digital service agency Marker reminds users of the steps in CPR. People are able to download the CPR programme from the Apple iStore.

St John spokesman Brett Derecourt says more than a thousand people die in New Zealand every year from cardiac arrest. He says St John wants to save as many lives as possible and downloading the CPR application may just help.
