Smail pace for Kiwis in China

The kiwi pair of David Smail and Danny Lee have slipped down the field after a disappointing third round in the World Cup of Golf at Mission Hills in China.

Their two under 70 was comfortably the worst of all the 28 countries competing in the event and saw them slip back in the field to 21st at 11-under.

The event has become a three horse race with Ireland holding a one shot lead over Sweden and Italy at 26-under and Japan six shots further back.

The tournament finishes with the final round foursomes tomorrow.
