Final Lane Walker Rudkin jobs go

Christchurch clothing manufacturer Lane Walker Rudkin has laid off its remaining staff.

The company was put into receivership in April by Westpac, ending 182 jobs in Christchurch and in the North Island. That was followed by additional redundancies in August.

Now the company's remaining 80 staff have been laid off. They have been working for the receivers in Christchurch clearing orders and attempting to operate LWR as a going concern.
