Pakistan's cricketers are comfortable with the early season conditions in New Zealand.

The three test series against the Black Caps, which begins in Dunedin tomorrow, is the latest home series to be taken offshore, as Pakistan was deemed an unsafe venue.

Batsman Faisal Iqbal says his team have had enough experience in New Zealand to balance out the conditions they will face. He says the players have adapted quickly to the cold weather.

Iqbal says it is their second or third time hosting a series away from home and if their experienced players perform, they can win the series.

The Black Caps are looking for some inside help, with former Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq again working with the New Zealand team trying to improve their understanding of spin bowling.

Saqlain says he has already seen tremendous improvement from when he was last with the team in Sri Lanka. He says they are more confident to pick the ball.

Saqlain says he has only copped some friendly jibes from the Pakistan side.
