Morrinsville baby's death likely SIDS

18/11/2009 15:28:01

A post mortem examination has been completed on a seven-month-old girl who died at her home in Morrinsville early on Tuesday morning.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, however Waikato police say at this stage it appears to be a case of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

The results of further tests will not be available for approximately eight weeks.

That is also when results are due back on tests to determine the cause of death of a death of a seven-week-old baby boy who died in Te Aroha on the same day.
