All Whites' coach Ricki Herbert insists selections for this afternoon's A-League match against the Perth Glory will be made with his Wellington Phoenix hat on.

The Glory is the Phoenix's last match before Herbert takes charge of the All Whites for Saturday's winner-take-all World Cup qualifier against Bahrain in Wellington.

But Herbert says while they are with the Phoenix, they are all giving everything for the club. He says they want to win and he will have the best players on the field.

Kick-off is at 5pm.
