Taupo cyclist takes out stage four

Young Taupo cyclist Patrick Bevin has taken out the fourth stage of cycling's Tour of Southland.

Bevin has won the 88 kilometre ride from Invercargill to Tuatapere from Joshua England and Matthew Gorter.

Heath Blackgrove has retained the leader's yellow jersey.

Stage five to Winton gets underway at 1.30pm.
