Gay adoption on hold

24/08/2009 10:08:02

Acting Family Court head Judge Paul Von Dadelzsen has called for an update of adoption laws. But Prime Minister John Key says he does not think we need to rush into changing the law. He says there are less than one hundred adoptions a year in New Zealand, an extremely low number.

John Key says in a recession there are other, bigger issues to sort out.
