Problem gambling campaign starts

Another national marketing push gets underway today in a bit to prevent and minimise problem gambling.

The Ministry of Health campaign aims to strengthen society's response to gambling, and prevent gambling-related harm.

It will extend the message about how problem gambling affects people, and what can be done about it.

Ministry of Health spokeswoman Barbara Phillips says television ads will start today.

She is describing them as challenging.
