Princess Anne to grace Riccarton

Royalty returns to Riccarton Park Racecourse for the first time since February 1963 with the visit of the Princess Royal to Christchurch this week.

Princess Anne is in coming Christchurch primarily for the 23rd Commonwealth Agricultural Conference. She will also attend the day's racing on New Zealand Cup Day on Saturday.

Princess Anne will present the cup to the winning connections of the 145th running of the Christchurch Casino sponsored New Zealand Cup.
