Meeting on Fiji in Auck this week

Foreign ministers from more than 15 Pacific Island nations are arriving in New Zealand to discuss the situation in Fiji.

Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters will host the delegates at the Pacific Islands Forum in Auckland on Wednesday. He says forum members share a commitment to getting Fiji back to democracy as soon as possible.

Fiji's elections are expected to be held early next year.
