Wiki to miss regular season final

31/08/2007 16:12:06

Vice-captain Ruben Wiki has been ruled out of the Warriors' final regular season NRL clash against the Panthers in Penrith tomorrow night.

The 34-year-old could not train today, after damaging his ribs in the team's training session last night. It is the second injury setback for the Warriors this week. Centre Jerome Ropati was sidelined for the rest of the season with a fractured shoulder blade received during last Sunday's clash against Manly.

Wiki will still travel to Sydney with the team, while Sonny Fai is the new player added to the bench.
