The Government has announced another aid handout with $2 million to be allocated to the Indonesian province of Papua. Foreign Minister Winston Peters says the money will be channeled through the United Nations Development Programme. He describes it as a substantial addition to New Zealand's existing work in Papuan development, and underlines New Zealand's commitment to work with Indonesia to improve social and economic development there.
