Top ten finish for Paddison in Indonesia

26/03/2007 7:08:02

A rare top ten finish for New Zealand golfer Garth Paddison.

The New Zealand left hander has grabbed a share of ninth place at the Asian Tour's Motorola International in Indonesia, which is his best finish in 12 months.

Paddison fired a final round three under par 69, to end the tournament at eight under par, six shots off the leader, American Jason Knutzon. His final round included five birdies and two bogeys. He picked up a cheque of just under $9,500 for his effort.

Not such good news for fellow New Zealander Mark Brown, who had a day to forget.

Brown started the day in a share of fourth place, but stumbled to a disastrous seven over par 79 to fall to a tie for 44th at even par.
