Eden Park Trust board "shocked"

09/11/2006 17:32:22

Eden Park Trust Board CEO John Alexander admits hearing Eden Park is out of the running has come as a complete shock.

He has heard nothing to that extent and is not sure of the background behind the comments. John Alexander says they are continuing with their planned upgrade and the resource consent process.

Sports minister Trevor Mallard has revealed he will make an announcement about the stadium issue tomorrow in Auckland at a briefing.
