Cameron Brown ready for Hawaii

09/10/2006 8:48:02

Some good news for kiwi triathlete Cameron Brown ahead of the Ironman world championships in Hawaii in a fortnight's time, with one of his main rivals ruled out of the race.

Two times former world champion Tim DeBoom, from the USA, has pulled out with a stress fracture in his leg.

Cameron Brown has finished on the Kona podium on four previous occasions but has yet to win in Hawaii.
