Brian Fitzpatrick dies aged 75

Former All Black Brian Fitzpatrick has died in Auckland, aged 75.

Fitzpatrick was part of the New Zealand Universities team which beat the Springboks in 1956. He toured with the All Blacks to Australia in 1951 and then played three tests on the mammoth trip to the British Isles and France in 1953-54.

Brian Fitzpatrick is the father of former test skipper Sean.
