Pakuranga man charged with kidnapping

A 19-year-old Pakuranga man is to appear in court this morning charged with kidnapping and aggravated robbery.

It follows a police investigation into an early morning home invasion in Pakuranga two weeks ago.

An Asian family was held hostage in their Howick home at gunpoint by three men posing as armed officers.

Further arrests are expected.
